To get the most out of your wax you ideally need to leave 4 – 6 weeks between treatments depending on your regrowth rate. Usually hair growth is minimal during the first couple of weeks and then noticeably increases.

For your first few waxes there will probably be hair growing that hasn’t reached the surface yet or is too short for the wax to grab hold of. In the few days or weeks following a wax you will see these hairs appear and once you’ve been waxed a couple of times all hair should be long enough to be removed from the root.

If the hair is left to grow for the suggested period of time and you do not shave in between (this is a big no no!!), you will notice the skin staying hair free for longer and you’ll be able to increase the time between appointments.
